 As a teacher, I want to teach my students about copyright and fair use regardless of their age. With that being said, it is important to teach them based on what grade level. I would want to practice with small activities, simple quizzes as well as giving them scenarios so that they can understand the importance. What I learned about copyright and fair use is that simply giving credit, is not enough, and that you have to make sure you are thorough with your citation. Slapping their name on the end of your product is not acceptable and will cause copyright issues. One of the technology implementation issues I would like to focus on in my classroom is student privacy. Numerous friends of mine, and myself included, are used to "internet stalking" people that we are interested romantically, or anyone that we so choose. I became using Microsoft Word as a child, but I did not begin to learn how to use it until middle school. We had a class teaching us to type and use Microsoft Office. I learned proper formatting, as well as how to properly write as a paper. I prefer to use Microsoft Word over Google Docs because I am able to navigate the software better than I do in Docs. The most important ISTE Educator Standard would have to be the Collaborator. I believe that it is important to collaborate with your students, colleagues, as well as the parents to provide a better education for your students. By working with your students, you are able to change your teaching style to suit their needs. By working with your colleagues, you are able to share ideas and see which works for your classroom. I agree to some extent with the "digital native". I believe children today are reliant on the technology, and it is affecting their behavior.        I am a Florida State Student from a small town outside of Chicago, IL. I am Literature, Media, and Culture major, and I am a senior, graduating in the Fall of 2024. Living in Florida for the past three years has been a rollercoaster. I spent my freshman year at FSU - Panama City, and as my first exposure to the south, it was definitely a culture shock.      In high school, I was apart of the Future Business Leaders of America, and there I was exposed to a lot of technology. I helped create websites as well as operate numerous programs and robots. I took a web design class where I code an entire website from scratch.
